Meet Our Doctors


Dr. Donna Earnheart

Dr. Donna Earnheart completed her pre-veterinary and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at Louisiana State University, graduating in June of 1981. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Earnheart completed an internship at a small animal specialty and referral center.

 In 1984, Dr. Earnheart became the owner of Village Animal Hospital and has been serving the surrounding communities' pets with excellent medicine, compassion and care. Dr. Earnheart has several special interests in veterinary medicine, some of them being Advanced Dentistry and Internal Medicine. She also loves seeing exotic pets including birds, reptiles, rabbits, rodents, and more. Dr. Earnheart and her husband have three children, two dogs and one kitty. 

Dr. Angelica Mares

Dr. Angelica Mares graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with her B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Science. She worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician for seven years throughout her studies, and went on to Western University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. 

 Some of Dr. Mares's special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery and dentistry. Dr. Mares is fascinated by the science of animal medicine, and has known since childhood that becoming a veterinarian would be her path of choice. She has a thirteen year old dog named Cronus, and a fourteen year old kitty named Seth.
